Light My Way

This is a great game, but when I downloaded the latest version, I found that the Chinese option couldn't be used. When I asked the localization team, they told me that the text for the Chinese version had already been completed. So I'm not sure if it's a game bug or if the Chinese version hasn't been updated yet.

This Visual Novel is downright fantastic, just wanted to say that. If you're reading this comment unsure of whether this project is worth your time, download it ASAP and start reading, thank me later by supporting the Studio!  :3

Wow, this visual novel is really good. I do get the sense that of something....off, to say the least. Like with the equalizer thing itself, it is used in a political sense with them trying to stop TSG, which objectively good, it does bring up a lot of troubling questions like could certain governments or movements use them for political gain or to oppress the masses through installing contempt with the current system in power? Who knows, perhaps I'm over thinking it and I did have a glass of whiskey before writing so take this with a lot of salt. Come to think of it's more of a thought/observation.  

One thing I do want to want to point out is some of the bits of where it states Lucian is selfish for things that seem like normal reactions. For example him trying to run away after getting drugged, interrogated, and James suggesting that he gets killed. Yah, no. Running away is the sane thing to do.It definitely comes off, and going back to what I mentioned before, the other equalisers don't have the best intentions in mind. I could be wrong but eh. Not to say he is without flaws, I can see in sections where him being whiny and selfish do come into play, including in the prolog which highlights it the most. But besides that, holy crap you guys did an amazing job. Also the stuff with the evil aspect is just a Chef's kiss. good job there. I cant recall but there was a bit of a jump scare earlier on with the audio, I hated that so much but in a good way. Congrats on that. The writing aside from what I said is also super good. I want to end it hear so I can read the rest.

WTH, I'm starting to root for Dargan. 

Their so noble instructors expect them to be ready to give their life away for the greater good. At the same time, when they saw something they didn't comprehend one of the first suggestions was to kill the fox, just to be on the safe side. As if ending something you don't understand yet wouldn't possibly have consequences, and killing is just something you do casually when convenient. Who they think they are to call someone else selfish? 

I love the part where Catherine asks why he didn't tell them, the people who already suggest killing him when they first met, that he has this evil aspect of which he doesn't seem to have full control? LOL

Don't get me wrong, the main character is nowhere near being a role model and he needs to get his shit together.

Dargan might be an evil son of a bitch, but at least he is consistent.

Fabian is okay too, not a paragon of consideration and understanding but he's just an undergrad student trying to do the best he can of what's thrown at him.

Anyway great writing. I am looking forward to the next update.

Uh...Did Cat forget the events of previous chapters? Astor clearly contacted Lucian's evil aspect and then she's surprised Lucian has one?

I quite like this VN but...


Why is everyone.. so mean to MC? I mean sure they don't coddle him, but its like he's not allowed to express himself or screw up at all without being chastise for it, he does something and its instantly "your such a child " "so selfish" "get your shit together" like are none of the characters his friend? feels unnecessarily harsh, no one allows him to feel his own emotions, its like they are denying his emotions constantly and try to act like he has zero justification or allowance to feel that way. 

someone is being rude to them, for whatever reason they are feeling, and he brings it up and gets told he's selfish or has a narrow view, like okey, but you were still rude, yes you might have had a reason to act that way, but MC shouldn't be obligated to see through their perspective to see why they are acting like that is he meant to be like "ah yes you do have a lot on your plate, so i understand why you were rude to me, therefore i shall no longer be upset about your actions"

It just feels like MC has no friends, everyone is overally rude to him for the smallest things and they all try to invalid his emotions, like why does this feel like some weird abuse relationship with 6 people.. 

I'm really hoping this is tied into a plot point or something.. 

other than that tho, love the VN, love the concept, keep up the good work, excited to see what happens next

I just finished chapter 8 and all I can say is this: ABSOLUTE. FUCKING. BONKERS!!!!!

I cany believe I have a new FVN I'm shaking in my seat to wait for a new update! The new chapter was absolutely fucking insane my jaw was just like this the entire time:

definetly glad i read this, can't wait for chapter 8 to come public, I love the concepts, and the quality is amazing, especialy for a VN thats been out for just over 2 years,

 Sidenote, though- probably shouldn't of chose moments before bed to read this vn... it is now past 3 Am cause I couldn't stop reading, and will probably be another hour before I fall asleep

So here are some things I need to talk about, but first I want to state this is not meant to be critical towards the author, I think they’ve done amazing work in that they made me feel things for the characters they’ve brought to life.  I do not see the things I’m pointing out as errors in the story, but to the contrary they make the story feel more real to me, the flaws I will point out are in fact flaws real people and organizations do actually have.

OK to start off I think Lucian is way too hard on himself, and nearly all of the criticism he gets from others seems totally unfair and often counterproductive, further more what’s worse is that he instantly agrees with much of it.  I think a lot of people can really feel for him in this aspect.

Next is the incompetent leaders Catherine, James, and Astor. Why would I call them incompetent? 

Well as a group, upon encountering something out of the ordinary instead of conducting a weeks or months long covert investigation to determine what potential connections and contacts a subject might have they blunder forth by abducting, drugging, torturing, and threatening our dear Lucian. After subjecting him to harsh interrogation, and coming up empty handed they still view themselves as justified and righteous in their outrageous actions and giving Lucian unreasonable commands that no sane person would obey.  I’d have tried to run too Lucian!  Then they physically assault him again when he does what anyone would do in the face of what he experienced, and force him to endure another interrogation as well as witness the interrogation of his ex and after this is all said and done they expect to just conscript him and have him play nice with their organization.  Their incompetence is further amplified when they discover Lucian’s unique ability to accelerate the development of powers in other individuals and instead of protecting and appropriately deploying such a valuable asset as a recruitment officer they set him on a path to become a front line solider where he could be killed or captured while simultaneously ignoring the justified protests of our super cute fox boy!

This is an incredible VN. The writing is top notch and the sprites and CGs are some of the best I have seen. The concept is extremely interesting and I am very excited to see where it goes. All of the characters are very well written and each have a depth of character and emotion outside of what is explicitly told to the reader that I really appreciate. Overall this VN is incredibly good and  I cant wait to see where it goes. 10/10 definitely in my top 5 VNs!

这个世界观是宏大的，非常优秀的一个游戏，Darius非常可爱，我觉得他很多地方很萌，由反差带来的，lucian表现出的自私又懦弱的表现很能引起共情，不能很好的接受他人的帮助和倘开心扉（抛弃喝醉的Darius离开的一幕真的很让人不能接受），但是他有时候有些过于刻薄了，希望能让他快些成长起来，如果可以请在接下来的内容让我看到lucian和Darius一起的完美时间线，感谢作者！（英文不行，希望翻译能让你理解我的意思）

As I mentioned on Discord, Catherine is displaying several traits of pathological manipulative individual. The kind of person who are massive abusers. So, I hope she gets her due desert at some time.
