Hello everyone,

Chapter 4 will soon be available for public download. We have worked hard on this and will continue to do so for however long that's possible. But...I need to be real with anyone interested in this project. After four chapters, all with backgrounds, illustrations, etc. I am getting close to evaporating all my savings. I have had some (extreme) invoices that I had to pay in recent times for my mother's funeral, an unfortunate expense that has left me in a rough spot financially (I have expanded on this on my Patreon page). I did manage to set up the next two chapters for illustrations and coding, but I won't be able to do more than that as of my current situation.

I love my project and I would like nothing more than to push it to completion. There are another seven chapters, not including chapter 4, already written with the final chapters yet to be done. I have plotted the end of the novel already, but have been unable to properly focus because...the last half year has not been easy. 

I don't want to turn this into some sort of sob story though. Life is complicated and often enough, it's unfair. It is what it is and we can all just keep going forward. Which is what I am trying to do for myself and for my project. 

To that end, I would like to ask here for any support for "Light My Way". I understand that not everyone can help financially, which is completely fine. If you believe in my kinetic novel and honestly enjoy it, you could share it with your friends and/or on social media. Anything helps. 

I will soon finish uploading all the merchandise I have prepared on the Bat Studios Etsy shop. There will be another devlog update regarding that in the next few days. I am finishing up some nice prints, stickers, and button pins. So, if you're willing and interested, give that a look as well when the time comes.

I am very grateful for the support that I have received so far and would like to thank all of you who have sent good thoughts my way. I appreciate each and every one of you for what you've done for "Light My Way".
