Hello everyone,

I have managed to stabilize if only for a few days with my free time. So I have taken full advantage of them and with the help of some matcha tea, I managed to finalize the edits for chapters 7 and 8. I did another read-through of Chapter 7 to ensure everything was in order and I'm happy with the result. But Chapter 8 man...

I worked really hard on this one. It's currently my favorite out of everything I have written so far for Light My Way. Well, that and Chapter 9. They are both very intense and for me absolutely amazing to write. When I re-read parts of Chapter 8 today I got goosebumps all over. I put a lot into it and I hope you will all feel it too once you get to read it. I know it's a bit off for me to promote these two chapters when we're not even done with putting out chapter 6 and 7 yet, but I wanted to tell you that this project will have a conclusion and I will not let it die out regardless of what happens in my private life. The goal is to get to 13 or 14 chapters. It depends on where the muse will take me, if I see another line I can take for the ending. I'm still overly worked with my job, but if things start smoothing themselves out a little bit, I can see finishing the entire script by the end of the year or the beginning of next year.

We do plan on participating in the NovemBear jam. That will take up the entire month of November obviously which will also make the progress for Light My Way slower. But on the bright side, we do have something pretty intense planned for the Novembear jam. A little different but you'll feel the vibes that we bring.

Another new update in our work plan. Rlion will take on creating all the remaining backgrounds in his own style. This means that a full change of backgrounds will happen at some point. This will be further in the future so for now we'll keep using what we have. The style Rlion will bring is completely different from what we have now. It rounds out the mood for Light My Way like I envisioned it when I first started. I am so proud of this small team of 3 furs that met randomly and have now been working together for over a year to create an amazing visual novel.
